I was THIIIIS superclose to sort of cheating on Rob last night. Basically because I was TEASED TO DEATH with tweets about a movie with FULL FRONTAL NUDITY and LOADS OF HAWT SEX-SCENES. Thus I spent all night (read: Until I developed a bad migraine due to being mad) searching for a fucking online stream so I can finally see that movie. Yes, I am that easy when it comes to FULL FRONTAL NUDITY and LOADS OF HAWT SEX-SCENES.

If you haven’t figured out what movie I am talking about by now, let me help you. Apparantly there’s a movie out there called >Shame< featuring Michael Fassbender (is this guy of european origin?) who supposedly has a big cock is really hawt.
No idea about that because in the google pics I saw of him he didn’t really seem my type, but on the other hand Brad Pitt isn’t my type on googlepics either. But he so does it for me in “Mr & Mrs Smith” *shrugs*. He portrays a guy living in NYC who is a sex addict and I think that’s about all you need to know. Oh and Carrey Mulligan is in it.
From what I’ve heard it is a really good movie, not just because of all the sex’n'stuff but because Michael’s performance was pretty impressive.
Since my search was unsuccessful and I have no idea when or if the movie will be released in germany (update it will be out on the 1st of March… WTF?), I have to rely on you h00rs to tell me what’s up with this movie.
Is Michael’s performance really as gigandick as people make it out to be?
Is the whole subject of sex addiction only an excuse to sell a soft porn to the audience as a cinema movie or does it indeed have a deep meaning?

Is this movie really so good it should have been nom’d for an Oscar? (Btw WTF is up with no nomination for Ryan Gosling?)

Full frontal in a movie that you can go see in a real theater? You know, one that doesn’t have sticky floors. At first glance I have to say that I don’t find Michael all that attractive. BUT, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have other fine points to consider. I’ll watch the movie and make my final decision. LOL!

You guys should know this is a very dark movie-very bleak. Fassbender’s performance is amazing but he’s a tragic character. Yes, he is addicted to sex which got me to the theater but I left not wanting to have sex for a long time.
Both MS and CM’s characters are completely damaged but the story never tells you why and leaves you without hope.I think he wasn’t nominated because the movie itself could have been much better. I saw it with a screenwriter friend who hated it.
So if you see it, just be warned. It’s not a walk in the park. Once you see the sex scenes in context they aren’t sexy nor were intended to be…despite the fact that he is very nice to look at.

It is somewhat traumatizing though I have to admit that the ending was far worse than anything else that happened in the movie -at least for me.
No idea about how or if it could have been better, but I am not in the whole movie business so no idea.

He he he! Fassbender was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Actor for “Shame”. So even though I haven’t seen it (it’s in my Netflix queue), obviously many people believe his “perfomance” is pretty great.:) The funny part is when they interviewed him on the red carpet, he said he took the part because of his Mom! He said growing up she was always complaining that women were the only ones that did full frontal nudity in movies and why didn’t they have any male actors doing full frontal. So he said (with a huge smile on his face), “This one’s for you, Mom!”
